SEG Cineland’s project, The Northern King, featuring talents such as Henry Adofo, Versha Grant, Jeffery Forson and Justin Adda, is set to hit the screens of the Silverbird Cinemas in Accra Mall and Westhills Mall on Friday, 31st March 2017.
Set for two showings at 7pm and 9pm at both cinemas, The Northern King, written and directed by M. Sayibu, is an action packed and suspense filled Ghanaian movie based on the elements of love, loyalty, betrayal, uncertainty and speaks to the issue of commitment.
Amin and Mannan are very close friends who grew together as brothers. Amin who is privileged to have been born into a well to do family flies out of the country in his early teens and enrolls into the US Airforce. Mannan, born into a tough family, struggles to survive. He amasses wealth for himself through the sale of narcotics and internet fraud.
Fifteen years later, Amin returns to his home and joins the Ghana Police Service. He is tasked to put an end to the continuous expansion of the business empire of Mannan, his childhood. Will Amin remain loyal to his country or betray his friend Mannan?
The tickets for the premiere sells at GHs 30.00 at the Silverbird Cinemas at the Accra Mall and Westhills Mall.
