One of Ghana’s most prolific and multiple awards winning female DJ, Bernice Nartey has received massive support for her women empowerment campaign “#NyceToBeAWoman.”

Largely seen on social media, DJ Nyce, as she is called most often in entertainment circles, began the campaign about a month ago with the likes of Berla Mundi, Mzz Vee, Feli Nuna, Jupiter, DJ Vyrusky, Sheldon among many others, pouring out to support the campaign.

In a statement made by DJ Nyce, she said that the focus of the campaign was to make women understand their unique role in the showbiz space and society at large. The campaign also focuses on promoting the need for women to be self-reliant and innovative. “Women do not need men to always champion the course of growth and innovation, we can equally do the leading.”

The campaign comes in a form of inspirational quotes about women made by celebrities carefully designed with their pictures.

The campaign is expected to run over a very long period of time until it has affected the lives of as many women as it can.
